Ceramic tea table

I have been thinking of buying a tea table for some time. The kitchen in our house is modern and my wife would probably rebel if I were to buy a traditional piece. I came across of the ceramic table at DTH that really got my attention. What do you think? Would ceramic be too fragile?.

Yes there is only one way: sending it through the China Post system. If it survives that, it can probably withstand just about anything !

I do not use use as a full on gong fu table. It is rather compact and it is well made. It looks very modern. Overall I like it. Will post a picture in couple of days.
