So my wife(or swmbo I suppose) has been giving me grief since I started accumulating all of this shaving gear about two months ago. I guess she doesn't care that much because she did some research of her own without my knowledge and ended up getting me some Castle Forbes Lime shaving cream for my birthday! I'd already heard good things but hadn't really splurged on anything too high end in price but I'm excited to give this a whirl tomorrow.

You sir have an awesome wife with good taste. Enjoy! Allot of people when they talk about a cream how little they use and then get a huge amount of lather, in my experience this only happened with CF.

Great stuff. I tried reaching for my Castle Forbes Lavender which is my favorite cream but being a hot summer morning I actually went back to my castle Forbes lime which surprised me.
I think you'll really enjoy Castle Forbes.
Great lather and slickness. One of the best. The lime scent is subtle in the tub. When lathered it fades quickly and smells different. Someone said it was reminiscent of pencil shavings and I think that is a fairly good description.
