Castle Forbes Eau de Parfum

Anyone have any experience with any of these fragrances? Strong feelings one way or another? They seem a little pricey but they are a pretty good sized bottle at 4.4 oz and are eau de parfum so I'm wondering if they have better sillage and longevity compared to other colognes associated with shaving products. I've seen alot about the shaving cream on B&B, but not the fragrances. I don't have any particular type of scent I'm looking for.... mostly just curious what everyone else thinks of them.

I have not tried them, but the advice many people here have given me is not to get caught up on the EDC/EDT/EDP concentrations as an EDP is not necessarily going to last longer or provide better silage.

Hi Ben,

I've used the Castle Forbes Lime scent for years and absolutely love it. And its reasonably priced. At least it was the last time I got it online.

I love 1445 and like Keig & Gentleman's edp. I'm neutral on Lonach and don't like Forbes. The sillage and longevity IMO are superior to most others. Al l3 of my favorites I can still smell after I get home from work.
The Neroli Limited Edition is the longest lasting cologne I've ever tried (the only one that is cloee for me is Knize 10).
There are still some EdC versions of these on sale on the web (from at least 5-6 yrs ago) and IMO these are inferior to the EdP in longevity.
****I'm going to be selling some CF EdP here very shortly so keep your eye out*****

+1. I also have the Limes scent and it's the ONLY Lime I've ever found that had any longevity. I've layered it with Royall Lyme and it works very well.

Thanks to everyone who commented. I've seen a Castle Forbes aftershave balm sampler at a reasonable price on at least one website that I can recall. I've thought about getting that just to get a feeling for what scents I might like. It does seem like there are so many lime scents out there with regard to shaving products, but not too many that have very good longevity so it's good to know that the limes scent from Castle Forbes might be a little better than most in that respect.
