Cant order online after shave that has alcohol in it ?

Hi everyone,

Was wondering why cant we Canadians order online after shave that has alcohol in it? we can cross the border with bottles of booze no problem when i go shopping in watertown ny and other places like that but im not allowed to order aftershave hehe. The rule doesnt seem right.

I just wanted to try this clubman aftershave and im having a hard time finding it within Canada.

Alcohol based products are considered hazardous for transportation (flammable risk).
The vendor needs a special certification to ship hazardous goods, and it's way too involved and expensive for the average small business.
