What's new

Can't help myself.

Oh nuts. I thought I was the only one. I have three!

Cheers

I also have three, but one is a coffee mug, one is a giant size like a Barbershop mug, and one is the little midget shape that most of them seem to be. Fifty years ago, I had one that looked more like the coffee mug, not quite as tall, and it came with a puck of soap as part of a gift set. I've never seen one like that one since, and would like another.

I have four so far. I have Col Conk Bay Rum soap in one of them. Flea markets are great places to find them. Ive yet to find one with OS soap in it but the search goes on. Hoping to find others besides OS. Would like to find a nice Seaforth mug.

I have 4 and a couple large beer steins. I don't think I've ever seen one for a decent price and not bought it.

they make excellent Q-Tip storage containers too

But not an unpleasant one....

And mostly inexpensive. I hesitated for a moment on this one because they wanted three bucks for it.

After you score one for a quarter, all other purchases are judged accordingly.

Look at this great site to see what you have "Old Spice Collectibles" http://www.oldspicecollectibles.com/Mugs/

Hmmmm... I see those on BST and teh Bay fairly frequently. But the prices are high. Same for OS mugs, If I can get them for less than $20 including shipping I figure i have done well. Lord, I saw a mug, cheapo brush, soap refill combo go for $79 on the bay last week???!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/330798394155?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

I'm certain I've scrolled through that site's photos before; I don't believe what I remembered showed up. Also, I don't know what a Finger Dingus might turn out to be.

The shipping is what makes them hard for me to buy off ebay along with the fact that a lot of things are overpriced to start with. Im going to a flea market next friday and will see what I can find. Two months ago I found two OS mugs, one for $3 and one for $5 but I think $10 is a more realistic average price around here.

Both images are from the invaluable Old Spice Collectibles site referenced earlier in the thread.

Did you check out the Coffee Mugs section?

The wife's investment
My very first mug was an Old Spice mug (bought it with the soap). I still have it and it is the only OS mug that I have (haven't found any for a quarter yet). After I couldn't get the soap any more I started filling it with Colonel Conk almond.

I have 2 Old Spice mugs, both dingusless. Paid $12 each for them from an antique shop in Snohomish, WA. If I ever see any for $3 (what the OP paid), why would I want to resist buying it?

My oldest is a NIB pre-WWII Hull Pottery with the wood veneer box. Apparently they got the wood from Japan, so that didn't go much beyond 1940.

My favorite is a made in Belgium mug that was my dad's.
