What's new

To use, or not to use? That is the question.

So, I just won this on an eBay auction. I was interested only in the mug for the nostalgia, and there were several for pretty cheap, but for having the cap, box, and two soaps, I couldn't resist.

I will definitely use the mug, but should I use the soaps?

If you hadn't outbid me, I was going to use the solo puck and keep the sealed mug.

Old Spice is a fantastic soap so use it. If you are someone who likes to display items such as this then start by lathering from the underside of the puck so as to preserve the embossed logo. If you enjoy it and use it up then..... buy another. Nice purchase 👌

Here it is. NOS Old Spice with a more current Berma-Shave brush, reknotted from boar to silvertip badger.

Vintage Old Spice soap is very good, use it! It's a hard soap, it won't go bad on you. I haven't used one in over a decade, but I liked it, and some really experienced folks here think vintage OS is a tier 1 soap.

I still have the mug, I have a tallow Tabac puck in it right now.
