Need some tips to tone down a Grey Flannel overdose!
It used to be my favorite frag back in the 80s. Yesterday, I went to a cologne store to revisit the EDT and the store associate sprayed what seemed like a gallon of it into my palm. So much of it, that it got on my leather watch band, shirt cuff and suit jacket. No worries about the shirt and suit. The Cleaners can take care of that.
24 hours after the fact, my watch literally smells like a Grey Flannel tester. Despite two showers since then, my hand can still be smelled from 10 feet away.
Finally, the scent has permeated the steering wheel in my car - and seems to "refresh" itself on my hands when I am driving.
Very aggravating. What was once a favorite scent, years ago, is now a noxious unpleasantry. Is there anything - short of waiting for it to dissipate over time, that will help?
