What's new

Can you please recommend a brush that.

.....is large or even XL or even XXL and has a long handle. The larger the better and preferably badger. Post a picture please if you have a good one to recommend or just tell me the brand and model.

I bowl lather and the only brush that has the long handle is my trustee Mason Pearson that has given me 12 years of wonderful lathering and it's time to add another one to the mix.

Thanks in advance for your help Gentlemen.

I would recommend contacting Bern Blos at shavemac. He has a number of VERY large brushes with long handles and builds custom brushes. Email him with your requirements. Good Luck.

Shavemac and the Kent BK12 are both good suggestions. I would add Rudy Vey, who made a very nice, very large brush for me.

The Simpsons Polo series have large handles.

If you're flexible on the badger issue, the Omega Pro 48 is huge, and the Pro 49 is still big, and they come with their break-in started slightly. A few weeks of use and they're heavenly.

The Omega 49 indeed.

The barbershop models, like the Vero and the Vie long also have long handles.
Not sure if these comein badger though.

The Omega 10098 has a nice long handle. It's a big brush and boar but is quite soft once it breaks in. I have the 49 and it's wonderfully soft.

Another Omega option:

Also boar and a smaller brush but 65mm tall handle.

They're both cheap enough that if you don't like them it didn't cost you much. I really like my Omegas. Very soft once they break in.

The 36mm handle from Whipped Dog is also pretty tall, 55mm or more. You can choose silvertip or pure badger, both very soft.
