It looks pretty cheaply made. I'm not sure if the brush belongs in this box or not?

It looks like a drugstore brush from the 60's 70's. Might even be a promotional item from the Williams Co. Give it a try. It might surprise you. If it disappoints you, the handle can be reknotted. I was going to re-knot an old EverReady 150 and deicded to give it a farewell lather. Bingo, reprieve from the Governor! Ol' 150 no longer has to go to the guillotine. It's back in use on an occasional basis.
Looks like an old Williams boar brush.

Try it out. If I had it, I would probably just put a new knot in it.
It's a Made Rite brush re-branded for Williams. I had a Made Rite brush with the identical handle, except mine was blue.
