Can anybody ID this brush?

Gents,

I received this brush today from my work for free. Its originally a "gift with purchase" from Dolche & Gabbanna. How can I tell if its actual badger or if its boar made to look like badger. Anybody have experience with this brush?

With that high of a loft I would guess its boar or a synthetic, a badger brush with that kind of loft would be almost unusable IMO. If you use it and it stinks, it's boar.
