Gents, I may head to bath and body tomorrow to get a tube of co bigelow. Does anyone know if it is paraben free now? I have heard that it is identical to proraso green.

Somebody posted yesterday that it was in fact the new formula now. I'll try to find the link.
B³ is a mile away from me. If this stuff is indeed as good as Proraso I may try it since I can't find Proraso around here.

Kyle, it depends on the stock your store has. Luckily the ingredients are clearly listed on the box
IF there are parabens, they will be the last ingredients.
Don't forget to check the travel size boxes also... They switched formulas long before the big tubes in my local store.

What ingredients are classified as Parabens? I am curious.
From the box description of ingredients: Methyl-, Ethyl-, Propyl-, Butyl- Parabens were in the old formulation. The new formulation is Paraben free.
So, is CO bigelow cream in the tube made by Proraso?

I recently found Proraso Red for $6.99 online at Italian Barber. The S&H was only $5 and change, from Italy and it shipped to me in PA in only 4 days (weekend in between). So it cost me just a couple of bucks more than going to Bath and Body works. But if I consider gas...

With as many creams as I have, I wish most of them had parabens to help them last longer.

If you do a little research you will find that there are no conclusive scientific studies that make a definite link to parabens being toxic (carcinagens). It is suspected that they can cause harm but proof positive has not been accomplished. Most cosmetic companies are limiting or eliminating the use of them because of public fear than real science. Each one has to weigh the amount of risk they are willing to take. Like other posters above I am willing to take the paraben laden products off your hands (especially Proraso). Bear in mind that most of the products that we wet shavers use were used by our grandfathers, many of whom survived to be quite old. YMMV

Hmmm....... Maybe Ignorance IS bliss. Looking at all of these ingredients lists in the bathroom, it is a great big Paraben bomb! 
I just recieved 3 (B2G1 free) big tubes (5.2oz) from Bath & Bodyworks ordered on line. There are no parabens on the ingredients list. Thoiught you might like to know.
