They must have started early in our store. Just got 4 of the large - 5.2 oz C.O. Bigelow/ Proraso shaving cream for 20 bucks. Great deal, IMO ! That only left 2 of the large tubes on their shelf.....

Grabbed 3 tubes and a bar of their "Mentha" soap. May go back for some of the travel size tubes before the promo runs out. I wish they made a "Mentha" shampoo, but the body wash might work for that use.

A day or two later, it was back in stock online, so I posted something here. Not 2 or 3 days after that, they were out of stock online again. I called and asked about rainchecks and was told they don't do that, but to check regularly.

So, best things to do are to see if you have a local store, and/or check online at least once a day while you're in the market for something.

When I braved the mall here on Christmas week to pick up some C.O. Bigelow the literature they stuck in my bag said the "buy 2, get 2" sale didn't even start until JAN 16. I know there were reports that it started earlier, but hopefully they are going to try and have all their products in stock for the sale. Keep checking.

FWIW, I just shaved today with some Bigelow. I take the cream straight from the tube to my face ala "shave stick style" and develop lather with my brush. I have NEVER had a bad performance with it, regardless how careless I am with water ratio. It's very effective stuff--and I love the scent.

Don't feel like dealing with the mall only to find it is out of stock. Plus this "may" be the last day, so I just ordered on the site. Still a deal even with shipping, but the 20% coupon knocks out most of it. Now that I have 4 tubes coming, I'll be set with one of the staples of my den for a while.
