Building Lather Aroma

Thanks to B&B I have learned about so many great soaps. I have about 12 different soaps including some B&B favorites like Tabac, Spick, Irish Moos, AOS (Lemon, Lavender and Sandalwood), MWF, C&E (Sienna and Sandalwood) and L’Occiatne etc.
My question to the board is does anything smell as great when you first load your brush than Art of Shaving’s Sandalwood. You often read on this site how some creams/soaps explode into a great later. But AOS’s Sandalwood explodes an amazing aroma just from loading the brush. This has become my go to soap.

I suspect your question was rhetorical. Nonetheless, assuming you're not opposed to trying a glycerin-based soap, Mama Bear's soaps are truly amazing in their variety of available scents and their ability to fill a room with whatever scent you're using at the time.

It might sound like a gimmick, but the experience can truly give you something to look forward to in the morning.

I tend to lean to tallow soaps, however want to try Mama Bear's, read great reviews on them.

Tallow brings out the best on shaving soaps

If you ask me, the biggest difference between the scent of the soap, as far as its base goes, it that glycerin soaps have a much stronger scent when mixing, but taper off once applied, and that tallow soaps are a little weakerm but stick around for a long time.

This has been my experience, so of course YMMV depending on some other factors, like what soap you use.
