DOVO Citrus Lion & Berlin Barber Soaps (Retail $40/each | Asking $30/each or $50/both)
Received for Christmas. Scents not up my alley. The soaps are made by Ariana & Evans for DOVO. Citrus Lion (scooped once) is a creamy lemon citrus scent. Berlin Barber (unused) is the most authentic barbershop scent I came across in a shaving soap (unlike the modern types). I am not familiar with A&E but whatever their best base consists of, it is used here - the one shave I had with the Citrus Lion was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish. Both have the same list of ingredients. Presented in a high-quality, reusable black stoneware ceramic from Portugal and is sealed with a natural cork lid. Presentation alone is worth half the retail price. N.B.: There is a difference in the way each soap was poured in the bowl. Not sure why, it came like that. I had the third Deep Leather scent in the past and the pour in between both.
