Brut Locion Dominant aftershave?

While in Walmart the other day picking up a couple things I notice they have a new brut in the shaving section , it's Brut Locion Dominant. It comes in a red tinted glass bottle about 3.4oz. I took a whiff of it and actually like it. But since Iam unsure of what it is actually marketed for I stick it back on the shelf.

Is it a aftershave or a misplaced Cologne?

I wondered the same thing as it does not say if it is an aftershave or not. I was pleasantly surprised to see it comes in a glass and not a plastic bottle, though. It seems to have at least a slight similarity to Pinaud Eau de Quinine, in my opinion. Oddly enough, I had gone to my Walmart to finally pick up a bottle of the Aqua Velva Musk, which has received many positive reviews here, only to find that it is no longer on the shelf there, seemingly being replaced by the Brut Dominant and something else new from Stetson.

Both the Walmarts I go to have aqua velva musk. Only one has the brut dominant. The brut website don't even have it listed thar I could find using my phone. The only site I could find with any kind of reviews was in Spanish so I have no clue what it said. It has a great scent, little bit of spiciness.

Its a cologne per the Walmart site. They previously carried the Brut Attitude which I loved, but appears that they have pulled that one. This new scent doesn't strike my fancy as much. These may be Walmart exclusives since I never saw the attitude anywhere else and only limited runs, so if you like it, buy a few.

Locion translates to lotion. So my take would be that this is an aftershave, as aftershaves splashes are sometimes labeled as Aftershave Lotions.

This is a non-American usage of the word, as when we think of lotion, we think of hand lotion, which is of course a thick heavy semi-liquid.

It's definately an aftershave. I purchased a bottle of Attitude and even though I knew locion means lotion I still emailed Brut and they say it IS an aftershave lotion.

Cool, will picking up a bottle after I get off work. I emailed brut about since they don't even have it listed on their site, hadn't got back to me though.

I have not yet seen Dominant locally yet, but will when we get it here. One thing that has puzzled me for a while, why does Brut only list their classic line on their website? Attitude has been out for quite some time, yet no mention of it on their site. Also, if they can put Attitude and Dominant out in glass, then why not the original. OK, I know the answer to that, so I'm curious why the new offerings are in glass.

I saw this in walmart today too, noticed it because it was in a glass bottle instead of plastic. It has a spicy woody smell, cinnamon and rosewood maybe. when applied it smells almost exactly like Gucci pour homme II.

I'd be sorry to see the Brut Attitude go. I've liked it and always got compliments. But..if and when the Dominant comes, I'll check it out.

Mine pulled the Attitude about 3 weeks ago. That really sucked because it was a daily driver for me. Still not really sure why they discontinued it as it was always sold out and I always bought a bottle or two when I went.

I will have to keep my eye out for the new one.

Man that sucks, I was about to kill the last of my bottle of Attitude. One thing is for sure, I will reuse the bottle. Now I just need to find out what I can put in it.

I got lucky with the Attitude. I was in the store when they were marking it down for clearance, so I bought 4 at $1.50 each.

Bought a bottle yesterday while doing some shopping. It smells like nothing I've ever used before but, at the same time it has a fragrance that reminds me of something, I just can't put my finger on the memory.

Anyway this is a nice smelling aftershave.

I dabbed a bit on my wrist the other day while I was in Walmart. Couple hours later UT was still going strong... Little too strong, started giving me a headache, so I guess even though I like the scent Iam going to have up pass on this one. I loved the spicy cinnamon scent.
