Hey Guys,
I have two brushes at the moment, both with there pros and cons.
Both a "Art of Shaving" brand. My first one came in a gift set from AOS, it is approx .75" measureing at the base of the hair. Its Pure Badger grade and would consider it small.
The other is, again, Art of Shaving....Its Fine Badger and measure a full 1" at the base. While the badger is beautiful, I have tried it and its a tad to big.
It fans out too much and unless I want to shave my eyebrows as well, it gets the lather everywhere. Even holding the brush by the base didnt stablize the fanning too much.
So my question is, I like the softness and high quality of the second one, but dont like the size and control issues. I like the control I have with the first one but its lower quality, and would also like it to be just slightly bigger.
Im not afraid to spend a little money to get a great all purpose brush.
What would you fine gents recommend?
Thanks from the newb.
Emil
