Been gathering up a couple of vintage handles with new knots.
Left to right:
Chicago Barbershop w/new ~20-21mm Boar knot
Rubberset 203 w/new 26mm BOSS synthetic knot
Rubberset 153 w/new 20mm Boar knot
Made-Rite 303L w/new 24mm Boar knot
Used the Rubberset 203 w/new 26mm BOSS synthetic knot today and found it to be very pleasant and effective.

Nah, this was an eBay find.
I recently bought the X3 in BB and I agree on the softest badger brush. Its softer than my other 2 Simpson’s also in BB (Duke 1 & Persian Jar 2).

Nice handle. The guy you bought it from is a great guy as well. The dubl duck brush I got and the solid green lowborn and a wood lowborn all came from him.
I almost picked up that wooden handle Lowborn. Good looking stuff.

Yeah it is nice. I'm finding I'm loving natural wood handle brushes more than any other. I'm still deciding what knot to get. I'm thinking elite razor silvertip.

I have a low-cost Maggard's 18mm Timberwolf synth headed my way. If I like it then I may get the 22mm version, I think that's what I saw on the site. I'm still getting my bearings with brushes.
I have the Maggard 18mm Timberwolf. I usually carry it in my dopp kit, but it's a fine brush for home use, as well. Backbone is reasonably firm and the tips are very soft.
Stuck an Envy White into that Lowborn Supply. Still setting, give it a run tomorrow after work.

What's your favorite knot and why? I'm partial to Envy Whites and Maggard's SHD knots, really dig em both.

Maggard’s Timberwolf!
I think that would look great with a 26mm timberwolf knot. It is one of my favorites.
