Is it safe to shave with an open comb razor if one of the teeth are missing? my particular razor has a missing tooth three or four in from the end, almost mid way. Shaves fine on the other side obviously, just curious if I should attempt using the other.

Sure, just make sure that its not on the end of the razor.
+1 here. Shouldn't be any problem towards the middle.
