I didn't drop it but I think I banged it too hard on the side of my bowl when lathering multiple times. It has 5 cracks all the way around the brush handle. I think the brush will hold together but it might not last. The handle is ceramic so I have should have know to be gentle with it. I doubt its a manufacturing flaw I think I was just to hard on it. I guess this is an excuse to buy a new brush.
