Bought a new straight in Brussels

Hello everyone,

So i saw this baby in a ashaving store in Brussels, i dont currently have a picture of it. Its a Dovo 5/8 straight with a red wood handle. on the blade it has a number (300), not sure what that means and also on the blade is written in gold "hollow ground, Ready for Use". I though that was a temporary thing but it seems to be permenantly in the razor.

I paid a grand total of 97 Euros for it, is this a good purchase or did i venture into a touristy shop where they strip you bare?

From what i read on here dovo's are good, not sure on the price, but it seems around whats on offer on the net, someone more experianced i am sure will step in, as for shave ready, again i am ot sure about that but a lot of posts indicate that a lot of razors are sold as shave ready, but are not.

Unsure, can you post a picture?

Ok, got a picture but with my crappy phone camera I either cant get enough light or you get some glare from the blade. Anyway ill post this picture and see what happens.

It's not a blade/scales combination I know of but this can't be a bad price. Looks like it's pakkawood.

Thanks for putting my mind at ease, I was worried I spent too much on it, but if the price is right then im glad i bought it there. I was afraid to get something online because i couldnt see how it feels in my hand, but this guy feels great. Now i gotta learn how to use the strop i got with it (stretch one wiht a handle on it, not the hang up kind) and begin shaving with it.
