Bob's DE89 replica with black anodized handle!

Fellas-

Here is an updated thread to include some pictures of a custom handle I had Bob make. I used the DE89 handle as a starting point since I liked the shape, but really like the look of his black anodized aluminum handles.

It is a bit lighter than the DE89L at 56 grams, but the balance is awesome since the handle is a tad longer.

I went to his site and contacted him. I like the Black handles and would like to get one for my Merkur and one for my Goodfella. Love the Goodfella but the handle is too short for me.

The R89 is lighter than the DE89... The weights with head are:

R89 = 64 grams
DE89L = 76 grams
Bob's = 56 grams

Bob's handle is about a 1/4 inch longer, so the it balances out the lighter handle well.
