Just did my first test lather in preparation for tomorrow morning. WOW! I put in a quarter size dollop of Proraso Red....love the sandalwood scent. Had the brush soaking in warm water for about 5 min. Gave it a shake and proceeded to whip up some lather. This brush is efficient. In less than 3 minutes I had enough lather to shave 2 or 3 times. I had heard this brush is a product hog, and I normally don't use a quarter size dollop to shave, but it was entirely too much.

However, the lather was nice and thick and creamy. I had to lather up my face and let it sit there a few minutes, even though I wasn't shaving. The lather was too good to waste. I took a pic but I'm too tired to download to my puter, up to photobucket and link to here...but I will tomorrow.

In the morning I will use TOBS Coconut for the first time. I just received the tub and it's intoxicating. I am also going to shave at the sink tomorrow instead of in the shower...will shave after. This brush may bring me back to the sink, even though it takes longer in the morning. I went to the shower to gain an additional 10-15 min in the morning since I moved for my new position and have more responsibility. I'll just get up a littler earlier again, like I did when I first started.
