Big & Tall Options

Every since I have been in high school, I have had to seek out Big and Tall stores to find Long sleeve shirts that fit properly. I could kiind of get away with picking up non Tall sizes for Short sleeve shirts, but they never really fit well and become unwearable after a few turns in the wash. I am pretty much on the low end size wise for Big and Tall Stores, but too tall for most regular retailers. I usually do not have a problem with pants, it is shirts that I have issues finding in my size.

As part of my year of revamping my wardrobe, I am looking for other Big and Tall retailers. I used to order from King Size before I realized they were crap and have pretty much been picking up clothes from JC Penneys, since they have a good selection of quality clothes in my size. Occasionally, I get lucky and find some stuff at Kohls. Are there any of other retailers, please can recommend?

Thanks

How tall are we talking? I'm 6'5" and I have to order most of my shirts on line. Places like Old Navy, The Gap, Lands End, Eddie Bauer, J. Crew, and LL Bean all have tall sizes online that you usually can't find in stores. The shipping on one or two items can kill you but if you order enough at a time it's not too bad or may even be free. If you find some stuff you want online, do a Google search for a free shipping coupon code for the place and you might get lucky. Those selections are where my casual clothes come from. For work I buy dress shirts from Lands End and Suits from Joseph A Banks. I hope this helps.

L.L. Bean is where I get most of my shirts. They can be special ordered by neck and sleeve sizes. Lands' End stuff fits me, too, but for my money L.L. Bean shirts are just nicer.

I'm 6'7" and weigh +260. I usually shop online at JC Penney, Casual Male XL, Rochester Big & Tall, Westport Big & Tall, Jos A. Bank, and for the best extra long ties, check out Brooks Brothers.

There are lot of options - we just have to search a little harder.

I'll have to give some othose a try. I haven't been to a Casual Male XL in years, but the couple shirts I have gotten from them have held up well. I am used to getting a good portion of my clothes online.

Thanks for the help

I think everyone has pretty much hit the right spots. Rochester is great for high-end clothes. Dillard's has Ralph Lauren and their stock brand. J.C. Penney's is decent. Good luck on your search.

Dillards is my go to for big and tall (although its short and fat for me) but I love Roundtree and York Gold Lable for dress shirts
