Bic Chrome platinum

Anyone Have any experience with these razors? I loved the shave that the one I got gave me however They're not cheap so before I order 100 I just wanted to see if anyone had any opinion on quality control or anything. Let me know.

I got a few points about this blade, YMMV ofc:
- is a bit too sharp for me, but resulting in a very good WTG/XTG hair reduction. I could compare the cutting feeling with Feather and Bolzano. I could also compare smoothness as being somewhere not as smooth as Bolzano, but smoother then Feather.
- as for ATG passes, it wasn't as smooth as I would like.

Consistency problems? Didn't experience any, but since smoothness is not enough, it doesn't really matter tbh.

I also liked this razor. Sharp as the dickens, but it's my second favorite so far out of what I've tried. (Gillete Spoiler, Wegmans ASR, Astra SP, Bic Chrome Platinum, Crystal, and Derby) The Crystal was my top favorite so far, it seemed to run just a SLIGHT bit smoother on the xtg and atg passes.

They are my favorite blades. I find them very sharp, yet they are not to harsh on my skin. They also have good longevity for me.

I can not really vow for them when it comes to quality control because I have only used two of them. Both where good though.

Never had a problem with the BiCs, and I guess I've probably used a couple packs of them. Always got great shaves, and fairly good longevity out of them, at least when I still tracked such things. Usually 7 or 8 shaves when I bothered to count. Good blades for a decent price. Probably in my top 10.

First time use and love it!, My first De shave was using green Astra and had a lot of weepers.

Then tried Shick Super Chromium (available in my country), not bad indeed... But BIC still in my first place.

Bic Chrome Platinums are among my favorites, up there with Treet/Trig and just behind the more expensive Bolzano. They're more expensive than an Astra blade, but for me, using a Merkur 41c 1904 OC, the Astra's not comfortable, so not a good value.

They were my very first 100 purchase over 2 years ago. I'm down to my last 5 pack. They are excellent blades and are sharp and fairly smooth. It was literally the only blade I shaved with for 1 1/2 years. I made the mistake of joining here and now I've been on a blade journey. The good thing is I've found some more great blades. However, if I had to go back to the Bic exclusively I wouldn't be disappointed.

Bics were my go to blade for a few years. They're awesome. I think I've only had 2 blades that were "off". It could have very well been my technique though. At one point, I think I had almost 1,000 blades stashed away lol

I always had good results with Bic yellow box blades, and I have heard the Bic Astor red box blades are equally as good.

Bic Chrome Platinum blades are nothing short of excellent. YMMV, of course. I know I have a few packs in my blade bowl; probably use one this weekend. $20/100 with Amazon Prime; otherwise $39. Yikes! They are great blades, but there's much better value out there.

I rate them 3rd behind Astra SP's and Gillette 7 O'clocks. Of course this seems to change depending which razor I am using. Don't like feathers anymore at all.
Still a noob in the blade department so don't read too much in to it, just my 2cents.
