Best shave ever

so I just had the smoothest shave of my life! My routine was as follows:
I first used noxema face cleaner( the cream) to lift my hairs, clean, and soften the area. I then took a hot shower. I next used C.O Bigelow and Parker 22r equipped with a derby for the first pass, then it got too dull, so i changed to a Treet. I did two wtg passes total and one atg. First time against the grain, very very little irritation, no nicks. Then I ended it with Pinaud Clubman Original AS and a pat down with Pinaud Clubman original talc. Success BBS!!!!

Congrats with the ATG pass. Some people can't do it. I am always jealous of those who can.

maybe i should take that back; it was my first atg that was successful, and the first one i have done in like 16 shaves. I shaved atg the second time i ever shaved with a de and it was not a good idea i had blood spots all over my face and razor burn was a beast. So i decided to try it today with more experience under me and now i can do atg.

There's just something special about that Parker 22r.

congrats! for those who can't do an ATG pass, what works for me (and I have VERY sensitive skin), is to dial down my gillette slim to '1' and apply a thicker gel (any lotion seems to work) to my neck before I lather it up with my normal cream.. smooth, almost BBS, and best of all NO irritation or nicks!
