I know there are tons of internet sources, but does anyone know where one can purchase DE blades in Chicago. I visited Merz and a number of other drugstores today and no one had any blades worth buying.

Not too many places around that will have anything other than overpriced Merkurs, or the waaay overpriced Gillette Stainless blades in the Red/Black packaging (which suck).
Dollar General sells re-packaged Dorcos, and there is always the Wal-Mart Personnas.
Maybe try an Indian grocer?
I bought some blades from this guy
