Just curious as to what people here think is the best of all blended Scotches? Or at least, what are some of the better ones in your view?

The best value is Grant's Family Reserve in the clear triangular bottle. It is produced by the same folks who bring you The Glenfiddich & The Balvenie, so right there you know it is top notch stuff.
Johnnie Walker Black Label is my choice of blended whisky.
Johnnie Walker Green Label is a very fine blended malt.
Islay Mist is another fine, very good value blended malt.
In an ideal world my drinks cabinet would never run out of any of the above!

Have you tried Black Bottle, made up of whisky from all of Islay's distilleries?
No, I'm not familiar with the name.
Unfortunately here in NZ we don't get as wide a range of whiskies as I would like!
Two of my favorites are Irish whiskeys, not scotches:
Jameson 1780
Bushmill's Blackbush

Johnnie Walker Gold Label would be my favourite blended. Holds its own against many Single Malts.
Not a drinker any more but I was always a big fan of chivas regal.
Johnnie Walker Black. I also have some double black but as yet it's unopened.
I prefer Dewars White Label.
Johnnie Walker, they're all good. I drink blends on the rocks.

Dewars White Label was my first full bottle down my whisky path and still one of my favorites. Famouse Grouse is exceptional in my mind for the price.
sheep dip, pig's nose and dimple pinch are a few of my favorites.

Another vote for Chivas. If you get the opportunity try the Chivas Royal Salute...IMHO it's better than the Johnny Walker Blue.

The best...JW Blue...definitely not the cheapest though.
