Berrister and mann.

Just got in my barrister and mann order yesterday and have had 2 shaves now with the solstice and bay rum. first thought was the smell was the best i have come across yet but i am more interested in the shave performance. up until now my top performing soap or cream(and i have tried a lot of them) has been mikes and castle forbes. this lather really does beat both. the lather is thick and provides great cushion but what gets me is just how slick it is, if you add enough water it is by far the slickest i have used yet and i am very happy with the product. i cant wait until i get my new kent brush in so i can see what kind of lather i get with it. im going to post some picks of the lather and would like to see some of your pics of B&M lather.

Great lather pics. Would you mind sharing your thoughts on the scents? Does the cedar dominate the lime? Solstice. I have to admit the scent description intrigues me.

Barrister and Mann is my go to soap now after trying so many others including Mike's, MdC, and so many others. I have a full Den of Shave soaps, but I reach for Barrister and Mann almost every time. My only problems is deciding which scent I want to shave with. Love them all.

Sure, the cedar does overpower the other scents but it does smell good. i got bay rum and solstice also, and they sent me the seville sample(thats thier barber shop sent). i hate bay rum and thought i would try this one because they dont use cloves......the smell is just WOW, a lot of cinnamon in it. the solstice is my favorite sent ever right now, its faint lemon and peppermint and i just love it.

now the seville, well i never had an interest in the barber shop sents and i would never have bought this because i hate patchouli but when i opened it the first thought i had was of this barber shop i got my hair cut as a kid.....the smell is just amazing and i will be buying a puck this week.

again the soaps are the best i have used and the sents are the best i have smelled and thats just a bonus.

B&M soaps are awesome. I also loved the Bay Rum. I still have the rest of the samples to go through. Really easy to lather and very slick.

You know it was going to happen. Pulled the trigger on the sample pack today. I have already used a sample of the Vetiver, Heather, and Clary Sage so that will be PIF'd in the contributors forum. Thanks Madderra for the follow up.

i know what you mean. the 4 scents i have are going to be hard to choose from.
