Beginner in perfumes

Hello my friends,

I came to the forum, been with my doubts about shaving, but I came across a side that always accompanied me and have immense curiosity that are perfumes, why always noticed my strange taste and especially when teenager.
Today I'm trying to understand things and get more and more interesting, I will describe here the perfumes I like and ask if possible to help families understand that ofativas belong and where should I take my next steps.

Perfumes I like:
Azzaro;
Hugo Boss Dark Blue;
CK Be;
Boticário Galbe;
Paco Rabanne Xs;
Paco Rabanne 1 Million;
Carolina Herrera 212;

I'm curious:
Aqua di Parma Intense;
Guerlain Vetiver;
Gucci Guilty;
Jo Malone - Oud and Bergamot;
Terre d'Hermes.

ps.: I suspect that my taste is woody and oriental tones.

I'm open to listen to the advice of you...

Hi,

Yes, I've used the Quasar, it is refreshing to be talking about Arbo or Uomini see the photos:

When I lived in Brazil, O Boticario was the bomb! I remember wearing Quasar: http://www.boticario.com.br/produto/10978/quasar-des-colonia-125ml/

There was another one in a green transparent bottle that doesn't seem to be on the website anymore. But that was a long time ago.

Those days are gone; now they're memories on the wall. I still hear the sounds...

All those fragrances you are curious about are good choices.
Gucci guilty is a very underrated one and i dont see too many people using it. I personally love it.
My favorite Acqua di parma cologne has to be the Essenza. Intensa is number 2 for me.
Essenza does project better than intensa too in my opinion.
I personally own and like 1 million as well.

here are my recommendations for you

Thierry Mugler Pure Havane (Insane longevity and beautiful scent. Not an everyday fragrance but definitely goes good on a little chilly cold days. The cherry/tobacco combo is amazing)

Dior Homme intense (this one is sweet and seductive. you will have females sticking there noses in your neck when wearing this :))

Chanel Allure Homme Eau Extreme (You can wear this one day/night or cold /hot weather. Its aromatic and woody. one of my favorites )

Montale Red Vetyver (since you are curious about Terre dhermes, this is a better version of that. a bit more expensive too. insane longevity and projection)

YSL L'homme (cant go wrong with this classic cologne. its an all year rounder. whatever the occasion is, it suits well and smells amazing. if you want an evening version of this, try La Nuit)

Yes, I do remember the Uomini, but I didn't own a bottle. I had a friend that owned it. The green bottle I remember was completely transparent dark, emerald green just like the cap of Arbo. It could be that the packaging/bottle of Arbo has changed since then. This was around the year 1999. Do you know if Arbo was around back then or if the bottle changed? I distinctly remember the bottle looking just like the dark green cap in your photo.

Hello tehtimmeh,

I've also had the ...
Now Acqua Brasilis changed packaging and still has a colony.

If you want I can see if I can send you.

Nope, it wasn't Arbo, it was Acqua Brasilis:

I owned this one and Quasar when I lived in Brazil and loved them both back then (even though Quasar is a remnant of GIT/Water if memory serves). I may buy them both again for nostalgia's sake!
