Bath and Bodyworks clearance this week; Bay Rum?

If any members find a bath and bodyworks that is clearing out the Bigelow Bay rum After Shave or Cologne, I'd be happy to reimburse them for cost and shipping.

I've checked the ones in my area, and no dice, and they don't seem to have any idea if they'll get any during the clearance sale.

Good question. I got my daily (well, maybe an exaggeration) e-mail today, and the only C.O. Bigelow product shown on clearance was a body wash.

A clerk told me that they would get shipments of discountinued items to run on clearance, and the Bigelow bay rum might be a candidate. She also claimed that they would soon have Lucky Tiger, and lo and behold it's on the website, so maybe the lass knew her stuff!

I've heard good things about the Bigelow bay rum cologne and Aftershave, but hate to order something online if I haven't given it a test sniff.

But, at 50-75% off, I'd take the chance.

No luck locally yet, they said I should check back in a few days, but they really didn't know what they would be getting...

I doubt it would be 50-75% off. If it was with my luck they will have sold they would sell the last one 5 minutes before I get there.

I just got back with two bay rum after shave balms, a few Bigelow pre-shave oils, the red label after shave balm, and a face scrub. All 75% off (so $4 and change for the AS). Oh and a Bay Rum shower gel. EDIT: They had 1 cologne but I don't wear it so I passed.

I just checked everyone in my area. Even the one that always had a shelf full of bayrum. All are out.

I never find out in time. i was just there 3 weeks ago and they were all full price.

YES I found some!!!

I actually found 1 bottle about 30 min away. Store Associate said it is not on clearance.

I called around and found a store that is holding a bottle for me but the store is 800 miles away. Luckily I have family there. That store associate stated that it is a company wide clearance and the other store should honor it.

Funny I just called about 20 stores looking for a balm that I am not crazy about the scent. Good deals are hard to pass up. The only bay rum I really liked was either the St Johns or Royall Bay Rum. I can't remember which one. It was either when I was in Bermuda or Bahamas I first smelled it.

I read this post and immediately went to my B & Body works and took the bay rum, cologne and pre shave oil to the counter and asked the salesperson to price it and bingo...ALL WERE 75% OFF!! However, this was the only store I've found the stuff. I may check out a couple of stores in Memphis next week when I go there but in the Nashville area, the Franklin Cool Springs store was the only one I've found any...and I just cleared it out, unless they put some more out tomorrow!!!
