Barber Hone Grit ?

I have a barber hone , not this one but one similar.
What is the comparable grit when compared to other stones? It feels like a ceramic stone I have.
And is a stone like this what a Barber used exclusively? I ask because I don't see other vintage stones that appear to be Barber tools like these are.
Did they go right to a strop after use?
I know they don't have the finishing equipment we have , such as micron pastes and such ... Is this all they had?
And dare I finish honing a razor with one, then strop and shave?

It is for final touch ups when a very sharp razor that has been fully honed is starting to pull just lightly. Use lather and make 3-6 strokes and then strop and shave. You can not restore on these or hone fully or you will be in for a long and troublesome journey...Finally touch up only.

The barber's hones I've personally tried I'd estimate to be around 8-10K, you can follow that with 30 laps on linen and 60 on leather and see where that gets you.
