I like the yellow can with Lanolin. I use it when I can't take the time to make a proper brush/soap lather. It does provide a close comfortable shave.

That's what I've been using. I tried a bunch
of different brands of canned shave creams
and gels and that's the best one I tried. It
leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.
Barbasol with Aloe (blue and green) will dry
your skin out. It's made for oily skin. If you
have dry skin it will make it worse. I could
see if someone used that one and didn't
know the difference how they might think
all canned shave creams are terrible.
The other canned shave creams and gels
I tried either weren't slick enough, smelled
like detergent, didn't provide enough of a
cushion and dried out my skin.
