Barbasol Brushless Cream

Question? Does cream go rancid after time. The reason I ask is I was in a Antique shop recently and saw two jars of Barbasol Brushless Shave Cream. One jar was empty the other full. Bought the empty one because it looked cool and I could use it as a storage jar etc. The other jar was full with cream which had a "medicine" smell to it.

Since I'm a soap guy I don't know if the cream is good or bad (rancid). Any suggestions. Should I buy it and try the cream or get it for the container?

Usually it will "chunkify" and be too hard to use. Sometimes it just dries up and turns into little dust particles.

I say, if it's still a usable consistency and it doesn't smell like mold, go for it. I warn you though, the old Barbasol Brushless isn't very good, Imo...

If that the case I'll buy it for the jar. I can use it for a soap container etc.
