Baratza Maestro = good enough for press?

After looking at Rockys and Gaggias, and coming to the realization that I can't afford them, will a Maestro work well for a Press? Thanks

Well enough? People also complain about the Rocky not being as good with the rougher grinds. You can get a nylon mesh filter to sit above the metal one. It doesn't really stop the powder, though. If you absolutely must get rid of the powder, pour through a paper or cloth filter.

I don't know specifically about the Maestro, since I got the virtuoso. It has a different burr. Have you considered the Maestro plus?

I have a Maestro and I'm confident in saying that, yes, it is suitable for use with a press. In fact, if press and drip are your main brewing methods, you probably need look no further.
