Bancroft from the 'Bay - What do I do now?

As a total and complete noob to straights with a few shaves under my belt, I decided to snag one from the 'Bay - $12.50 shipped. Seems like it's in pretty good condition with some very light surface rust, but the edge is duller than the cheapo Wallyworld multi-tool in my desk drawer.



All advice on what to do now is appreciated and welcome!

I'm sending it off to smalltank either tomorrow or Friday to have it cleaned & honed - excited to have a second straight (my other is a Whipped Dog sight unseen flawed)!

Came home from a looooong day last night to find a package in the mail!

smalltank did a terrific job cleaning up the blade and bringing that butter knife of an edge to shave ready condition. I didn't have time to shave last night (or this morning ), but I'm looking forward to a nice, leisurely shave with the Bancroft.
