Bad dog!!

so, I went into work today to do some catching up and the wife decides to stop by with the dog and some treats for me. I let the dog roam around the building because he's pretty well trained 99% of the time, and by that I mean I don't have to worry about him going to the bathroom on the floor. sure enough, I wander into another room and come across a giant pile of dog poo all over the carpet. I was mortified :cursing:. of course, I quickly rushed to clean up his mess so as not to leave that god awful smell hovering around the building by the time my co-workers come in tomorrow. I must've sanitized/vacuumed/sprayed 3 or 4 times just to be sure. If anyone smells anything tomorrow i'm just gonna say I accidentally stepped in a pile outside and trekked some inside. :001_tt2:

Sigh.. Tank did that once.. at 200 lbs.. he leaves a big pile... I could only figure that he was nervous being in a new place.. but ya. it was er.. a mess....

I was just shocked that our dog did a #2 on the floor. to my knowledge he's never done this before. my wife said he didn't go to the bathroom before she stopped by, but still.

Hon.. with all respect.. as an owner of a 200 lb dog.. be glad it was something you could pick up with paper towels... :scared:

honestly, I am now a firm believer in the bigger they are the more the baby they are... Tank gets so excited when he gets to go for a ride in the truck.. but when we get there, he is so scared he sits in my lap. really. We have broken chairs..

Do you feel better now?

haha, true. what kind of dog do you have? Newfoundland? St. Bernard? at 200 lbs you must have to use a shovel to clean up after him :001_tt2:

Tank is the little one on the left.....he is an Olde English Mastiff.. I am trying to type around him now as a matter of fact. They are all big babies.. frankly, I believe men fart and dogs leave piles.. yes, I am still single.. sigh

wow, what a beautiful dog. I love Mastiffs!

ya me too... lol Just remember, they are going to 'mess' up when they get nervous.. He didn't mean it and probably feels worse than you... a roll of paper towels goes a long way with new adventures... hugs you!

If my dog isn't feeling good and has any kind of accident inside he gets really embarrassed and hides under the dining room table.

Don't you believe it! Dogs fart. They just don't fart LOUD:crying:

You wanna bet? I had a schnauzer who would let rip high pitch ones. The sound coming from his behind would startle him and he'd jump up and place his nose as close to his bottom as possible trying to detect what it was. Funny stuff.:lol::lol:

Yeah, my lab is the silent-but-deadly type herself.

I have a Mountain Curr and there is NEVER a time where her farts don't stink. It doesn't matter when or where or whatever the case, her farts aren't just the kind that stink, they are the kind curl your nose hairs and make you light headed. We've tried everything too (diet, supplements, etc), but alas the air will remain thick.

My dog does this exact thing and it cracks me up every time.

As an aside, I'm pretty sure this is the first dogfart thread in the history of B&B and I love it!

Heh. I take my dog to the office every day. So far I haven't had any problems besides some stinky farts, but I know it's always a possibility. This is how he normally looks when we're at work:
