B&B Group Buy - QED Violetta - Ordering Information - New Thread

Folks,
I am going to start taking orders for the B&B group buy of QED Violetta!

For reference, here is the initial thread announcing this group buy.

Please use this thread moving forward for questions about the ordering process.

Here are the timeframes we are looking at:

• November 26 to December 13, 12:00 PM EST: Ordering period is open (about three weeks to make sure everybody gets a chance to put their order in!)
• December 14: Send final count to QED
• December 14 to January 14 (approximately): Manufacture and delivery of Violetta to Dave. This is driven by QED's ability to handle our order during a busy holiday season. Charles indicated a one month turnaround but this is not guaranteed. I'll be staying in touch with Charles at QED and will keep you posted on the status.
• January 14 to 18: Dave ships Violetta to you (international orders may take a little bit longer to ship out.)

Note that it's going to take QED about a month to get me the product after I send in the final tub count. During this time period I am going to get shipping labels and packaging ready. There is no advantage to ordering early. Given that I have a one month buffer it really doesn't hurt me if everybody decides to order on the last day either. Essentially, do it when its convenient for you.

Pricing
Pricing for all orders will include tub cost ($13), shipping cost and PayPal fees. I'll need to add in extra cost for International orders to purchase packaging materials.

US Flat Rate Pricing: I am using USPS flat rate Priority Mail shipping for US customers so here is how pricing will work for folks in the US:

International shipments will use USPS First Class International Mail. This will be slow but it is the only way to make shipping costs low enough to make international orders worth it for folks. Shipping estimates are provided. I need to purchase packaging to ship overseas and shipping costs will be reflected in the final amount you need to PayPal me.

1 Tub for a total ship weight of 8oz will cost approximately $18 to go to Canada or $23 to go to Europe (American dollars) including all fees.

OK, how to order:

For all Orders:

• Send me a PM indicating the quantity you want and your shipping address. Even if you have posted or PM'd me asking about the buy or indicating an order quantity I want a new PM so I can keep my tracking uniform. I don't want to loose any orders so I want all things routed through the same process. Older posts to the forums indicating how many tubs people were interested were extremely helpful to guage interest in the offering but thery were not commitnents to buy. These PM's you'll be sending me forward ARE commitments to buy.
• I'll PM you with my PayPal handle and what you owe for your order. For US orders the prices above will apply and I'll respond very quickly to your PM. For international orders I am going to confirm package weight and shipping costs to your country, then I'll send you the amount owed.
• PayPal me the money. At this point that I'll add your requested tubs into the tub count going to QED. If it wasn't obvious, I am only accepting PayPal transactions for this group buy to keep things fast, safe and simple.
• That hardest part - Wait. Wait for what I am sure will be a most excellent QED soap to get created, mailed to me, then mailed to you.

I am planning on ordering a tub for myself but I have an offer for those of you who may have a spare tub of Wild Rose soap lying around. If you are looking to get a tub of the Violetta, I would be happy to buy a tub for you in exchange for a tub of the Wild Rose (I would pay shipping for the Wild Rose, of course). I know its a shot in the dark but it sounds like its worth it.
