Attepting to convert...

This weekend my wife is in a craft show and her sister and her (the sister's) boyfriend will be staying with us this weekend. I am going to try to convert him to the [real] art of shaving. I have 2 razors (blue-tip and SS) I am not currently using, and extra brush and soap and cream he can use.

I thought it would be a good thing to do, as I had to teach myself how to use DE razors, and I would have used them years ago, had I been introduced then and ben tought to use them.

I don't know how I am going to approach him on it, but I will do my best!

I've converted many of my friends...I let the shave do the talking!! I just walk them thru it....I would't let him have a go with the blue tip....The SS is much more convincing!!!

Good to know, I was considering the blue tip, but I found I liked the SS better in the end.

Well I thought I would update tis thread with the outcome....

He shaved with the superspeed and loved it. Given that I was PIF'ed almost ALL of my shaving supplies, from my brother, I see fit that I do the following.

I am giving him my (now his) superspeed and including: 2 packs of Derby blades, 2 Merkur blades, 1 Red Israeli blade, and to top it off...1 Feather blade (for when he wants the ultimate shave!). He has his own brush, soap, and aftershave.

I also pointed him in the direction of Rasage Poulin (since he lives in Calgary). So if you read this one Scott, you're getting a new customer!

Needless to say I am very excited that he is excited about shaving!
