What's new

Attention Chicago Area SE and Injector Users

A couple of interesting bits of news and a question.

Apparently Mariano's Fresh Markets carries SE blades and injector blades (though not double edge,go figure)along with the usual multi-blade carts.
A 10 pack of "store brand" SE for 1.99 and a 7 pack of Schick injector blades for 6.99.
The boss man sent me on a grocery run to the Vernon Hills Mariano's so stock may vary but at least there is an "easy" brick and mortar possible option for us Chicago guys.

Now for the question, seeing as access to blades sort of put injectors way down on the list but now with a "run in a grab a pack" option will modern injector blades work with any vintage injector razor or do I need to look for a certain year or newer or brand?

Any vintage injector (even the very first, if you load the cartridge by hand) will accept a modern injector blade. Have at it--especially since you're far enough away from me that we won't be competing for the same razors!

Thanks Wingnut
Those old injectors are common as dirt in the antique shops up this way.
