Astra Superior Platinum. It has been a while since we talked

It has been a while since I have talked with you all. Years ago I decided on the Astra Superior Platinum. They seem to give me the most consistent shave out of the blades I had tried. I am coming to the end of my blade supply so it is time to see what is new out there. It has been a few years since I last bought blades. Is there any blades out there that are new in the last two years that I should take a look at?

Not new, but getting a lot of love lately, are Vokshod blades.

I'm too new to know what blades are new but I have narrowed it down to Astra SP, Feather, GSB, and 7 o'clock Blacks.

I love the Gillette 7 o'clock Black blades, especially sweet when matched with an Aristocrat!

I recently discovered Astra SPs, they're a good blade. I just ordered 1000 off ebay for $88AUD including shipping.

I have narrowed my blades to Astra SP, Personna Blue Labs and 7 o'clock Super Platinum when I buy new ones. Personna Red are also in my stock.

Rapira Super Stainless (black/blue/pink pack) are worth a look. Good blades and quite inexpensive ($30 shipped for 400 on eBay).

After using only Red Pack Personna in my SuperSpeed for several years, I just switched to Astra SP last month. I never thought I'd switch, but I like the Astra better.

astra SP are hard to beat for the price, they go dirt cheap on amazon. Picked up 100 for $8.61 shipped 2 weeks ago. I love the gillette blacks but they cost about twice as much if not more. I think they are better but not twice as good.

Vokshod, SuperMax Super Platinum, Astra Sp's you can't beat them for the money. Also the Gillette Permasharp's (Greens) from India are great also, cheapest of the 7 o'clocks.

I did go and get another 100 Astra SPs for $13 with free shipping from fleabay. I was going to get a single pack of Vokshods just to try them, but with Shipping they were like $6.50 usd so I held off. But I will try them later on when I can get them when I combine some shipping. Thanks guys for all the ideas.

I have narrowed it down to astra sp, super iridiums and perma sharp. The perma and iridium I get very smooth shave but the perma you can but them for a decent price.
