I don't think so, but I wouldn't be the best judge. As a boar lover, all badgers feel just a bit floppy to me.

Yes! Epoxying was the scariest part. I didn't know if I used too much or too little. I probably erred on the side of caution because I was afraid of epoxy spilling out of the sides due to displacement when I set the knot. I can pull hard on it this morning, though. All is well.
