This smells really good, though I have not yet tried it on my face. I am a little confused that the front of the box says Sandalwood EO but Sandalwood EO is missing from the ingredients list. The only thing I could find to account for the sandalwood scent is 'Natural Aroma'. Anyone else seen this or know what is going on with the labelling? Does the ASB contain Sandalwood EO or does it not?

Here are the ingredients according to detailsformen, which lists "essential oil" as the last ingredient.
Labelling is so confusing at times. Looking at this product, why doesn't it say 'santalum album' instead of essential oil? I would think the company would be proud to list Santalum Album in the ingredients as it is very very expensive. To not state it on the bottle is something I don't understand.

I wholeheartedly agree with Sue. Not to mention, the ingredient list on the box which I brought from the store yesterday does not list essential oil as an ingredient. I think I am going to go return this today and spend my money on another product that lists Indian (Santalum Album) or alteast Australian (Santalum Spicatum) sandalwood EO in its ingredient list.
Please don't misunderstand my post. I am not demeaning this product in any way. I am not suggesting you were ripped off either. I just don't understand the "why".
If this truly contains sandalum album essential oil 'why' the company woiuldn't proclaim it on the label.
If I had spent $100 for a tiny ml of this EO, you can bet it would specifically be placed on the ingredients list after using enough to fragrance 4 ounces of product.
I also know that buying in bulk such as a large manufacturer is able to do; their cost for ingredients is significantly less than an SCS, Mama Bear or any of the small artisan's on B&B who purchase in small amounts.
In any case, I am not suggesting you should return this product or that it does not contain santalum album. I'm just a bit confused and that isn't too difficult to do

I absolutely LOVE the smell, but I don't like the way it leaves a greasy residue on my face. But yeah, the labeling is kind of strange...
If you don't want it, I'm happy to take it off your hands.
