I thought this stuff was only in the movies! 7 paintings straight off the walls stolen from an art gallery in The Netherlands. mulit-million dollar value. Look for the movie in theaters next year.

There has been some recent FBI snooping around on the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum heist, the most expensive art heist in history (some estimates value the works at $500M now). It is still unsolved.
Big deal. On August 21, 1911, the Mona Lisa was stolen.
