i have been wet shaving for a long time ( over 30 years ) .. but been using the 2 and m3's /// anyway ..about ready to go and try the D/E route /// had not used a D/E for at least 20 years ... anyway .. would a good old aristrocrat be as good as a new HD or any thoughts ... my wife loves my face and doesnt want it cut up too bad .... thanks

I believe the aristocrat moniker was ascribed to several razors, and I have an old three piece in a box labled as such. However, when I think of one, I think of the beefy handled TTO- sort of a superspeed on steroids.

I think that's correct. I think Andrew is right that the one above is missboxed, though. That is a standard gold fat handle Tech.
