I am really digging this razor... can't wait to try some new blades in it. So far I've only tried it for 2 shaves with an old Sheffield Special Stainless Steel blade and I have had 2 of the best shaves so far. A few weepers on the neck but I'm thinking that is more the fault of the old sketchy blade.

The TTO action is a little sticky, think I might need to give it some more elbow grease.

Do you have the one with the flat baseplate or the one which has the diamond shaped recess in the blade tray? I like the heft of the flat baseplate - from what I've read here the shave should be pretty close to the #16 Aristocrat.

I only got the TTO action to work smoothly on mine after two hours of ceaning or so.

From the picture it looks like it's in good condition too.

These don't show up too often. I don't know if it's because they are that rare or if everyone is just holding on the theirs because it's such a good razor.

BTW, I just bought another Junior which has a lot of rust in the blade tray but I hope it will clean up well.

One of my favourite razors.
I used it today with some Trumper's Eucris and got a wonderful shave.
Good choice.

I agree that the Junior with the solid plate is the superior razor -- one of the best!

Well, I guess it pays sometimes to live this side of the pond hehe.

After I placed my bid (it had only like 5 seconds to go) I went back to the auction page, and I noticed the seller mentioned he was told it may be the wrong case, however I couldn't see anything wrong with it... am I going mad?
