Are these any good?

Or did I just blow some cash on useless blades?

The box between the two Wilkinson Swords is also a Wilkinson Sword blade dispenser. The Childs was made in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and the other two were made here in good old New Jersey.

I'll take the Personnas and Wilks off your hands, as they are junk. The rest should be fine. :001_tt2:

The Super Swords will give a nice shave, as will the Stainless. I have had good luck with those Personnas as well. All Stainless steel, of course. The others look like carbon steel, so who knows.

The cardboard box blades might be pretty "iffy" - I see "Blue Steel" written on one, so my guess is that would be Carbon Steel.
Hope the Gold Tone blades aren't Cadmium plated

I bought the ones in the cardboard boxes as collectibles. I didn't know they made blades in Jonesboro, Ark. and want to try and find out where in Jersey the others were made.

I may never shave with the Wilkinson's and the Personna's buit thought they were interesting. Especially since the Personna's say Platinum Coated.

I guess I could have done worse with $8.00?

I'm not a collector of vintage blades, but that seems pretty reasonable to me, especially since you could use or sell off the Wilks and Personnas to recoup the investment for the collectable ones.

I'll give you $4 for all of them and let you pay the shipping :lol:

I'd go ahead and shave with the Personna and Wilkinson blades. My recent foray into NOS blades has convinced me that nothing made today shaves as well as the late model NOS DE blades.
