AoS Unscented for sensitive skin - oouch!

What's in this thing that stings like alcohol? Vitamin C? I had a sample that I used today and hours later I still feel the sting. My shave was not bad at all, skin looks good, calm, but the sting is still there ...

Isn't a/s supposed to soothe your skin?

It may be unscented but this ASB is not for men with sensitive skin! Glad I didn't buy a $38 bottle.

I'm off to rinse my face now and put some alcohol free Thayers on it.

What were they thinking putting the stinging Vitamin C in a sensitive asb? I can rub a lemon on my face if I want that effect and at least it's all natural .

Here are the ingredients:

Water, Isononyl Isononanoate, Glycerin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Glyceryl Stearate, Porphyra Umbilicalis (Nori) Extract, Laminaria Extract, Sodium PCA, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Macadamia Integrifolia (Macadamia Nut) Seed Oil, Cetyl Lactate, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemarin) Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Ginkgo Biloba Extract, Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Extract, Equisetum Hyemale (Horsetail) Extract, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol (and) Ethylhexylglycerin, Citrus Aurantius Dulcis (orange) Wax, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Astaxanthin-Cranberry Seed Oil.

Quite a few EOs/extracts in there, so it could just be one of those that your skin just doesn't like. Not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if the lemon or orange extracts in there could cause a nice sting.
