Anything Lavender Out There?

Any suggestions for a lavender-ish scent aftershave with some staying power? I have Thayer's but I'd like more than 3 seconds of stinky-stuff :glare:

i am on an Agua Lavanda (by Puig) kick; also available from Garry's Sample Shop.
Used it today, about 8 hours ago, just now splashed a little cool water on the face and still a nice trace of scent.

I am a lavender fanatic. I like my lavender woodsy/spicy almost like a rosemary, so to me that is how lavender smells. Some of the Lavender scented stuff is too flowery for my tastes. So my short reviews of the following 2 products reflect that.

Great lavender scent and it lasts a long time. It seems like a cross between a colonge and after shave, Splash it on as you would an aftershave but the scent lasts a good while without being over powering. You may not get the skin protectant qualities you want though. I always use a moisturizer so not having a humectant in my AS is not a big deal to me.

It contains other notes as well. Like bergamont and rosemary, which work well with the lavender.

You can check out this thread to read more. I have read that one should get the stuff in the glass bottle as opposed to the big plastic one. Not sure how much different they are, but the glass bottle looks cooler. I got mine from shaveabuck.com

Herbs of Bulgaria makes a Lavender aftershave splash. I have not tried it, but you can buy 1/4oz samples from Gary's Sample Shop for $1 each.

I have a bottle of this and it i is more of a flowery lavender, almost like a lilac. I use it from time to time, but not as oftern as the Agua Lavanda. Still decently lavender though.

I like Puig Agua Lavanda, Ach Brito Lavanda and Caldey Island. These don't linger that long. I think that is the case for most lavender aftershaves.

Myrsol Agua Balsamica and Atkinson's For Gentlemen aftershave are the ones I typically use. As stated above, not much staying power.... but better than Thayer's Lavender WH. I use Castle Forbes Lavender aftershave balm as well.

If that's true that Atkinsons For Gentlemen series is based on English Lavender formula (I haven't tried it yet) than you would be in a lavender heaven for mere 21.25 UK Pounds. I just checked Connaught shaving. Otherwise, I could recommend Santa Maria Novella Lavanda AS - only if you really really like your lavender.
