Anyone tried Laser Blades ?

I was in my local Wilkinson's (UK) earlier tonight when I came across them for £00.40p for a pack of 5.

They say on the pack that there made in India.


Does anyone have any info on these?

Will it be like using a potato peeler on my face ?

Never heard of them, but for 40p for 5, well that is a pretty good deal. Let us know how they work out.

I was given a 5 pack of Laser-SUPER Platinum to try years ago. They were rough,they tugged and pulled like a Dorco ST300 blade that's past its best.

There was some discussion about these on The Shaving Room, it was generally agreed that they're made of wood and painted silver. I bought a pack but have not been brave enough to try them.

Well I tried them last night in my DE89 and they were ok. My normal blade is the yellow 7o'clock, compared to them they were ok. I found them to be more comfortable than an Astra SP with the same result. At £8 for 100 not bad but with blades YMMV.

I've tried the as well and found them to be smooth for about 2-3 shaves then becoming very rough extremely quick. These seem to have a sharp fall of ones they start to dull. Paid .88 for 5 figuring no harm no foul at that price...
