Anyone tried "Blank Label" shirts?

I'm looking to get some decent dress shirts on a pretty slim budget. I had planned on getting some off the rack then having them tailored but I ran into two problems; it is damn near impossible to find shirts without chest pockets AND even if I did, my small town doesn't seem to have a well reviewed tailor anyway.

SO, now I'm looking at online sites for shirts made to measurements. I checked out a lot of the popular options (ravis, baron boutique, shirtsmyway, ...) and then I stumbled on blank-label.com It seems to be as low a price as I've seen without going international. Has anybody heard of this company or tried out its shirts? I'd love to hear some opinions before I take the leap. Thanks in advance.

If you dont mind going internationally you could check out some of the Jermyn street shirts. T.M Lewin, Thomas Pink and Harvie and Hudson pops into mind. That is where I get my shirts from and sometimes you can get excellent offers on their websites. Although I know people who doesn't like the style of the classic British shirt, I do so I wear them. And if you have the time (and the money, since cost was a factor you'd better not even consider it) you can usually find a made to measure service which gives you a shirt that fits like a glove. :001_smile

Whilst stuck in London during the Volcano crisis I picked up 4 shirts for £100.00 at TM Lewins, this may have been great value 10 years ago but this is a fair reflection on there worth as they are now made in Vietnam, whilst some are made in China.

I've been considering ordering one for a while now, but as I'm pretty much broke, I can't justify the cost haha!

I like how you are able to customize the shirt to the size (body type, weight, height) along with all the different other goodies.

Since I don't really mind where the shirts are made or stitched I appreciate those price tags allot. I find that £100 for 4 shirts is quite impressive wherever you go to buy a high quality shirt. I've sometimes paid that amount for just 1 shirt and of what I can read from the tag it isn't made in Europe either. :biggrin1:

I am happy to continue buying them especially at that price, as they are now
high street prices rather than Jermyn Street/Saville Row prices. The high street shirts are made in Morocco, Mauritius etc even my Hugo Boss shirts are made in Macedonia/Romania, it's just they are no longer made by English/Ulster artisan shirt makers but in a factory in Vietnam. They are good value but they have lost the Jermyn Street kudos......

The best feeling is still to walk over there and get one tailored.
